EUFLR Q&A: Expert Answers to 50 Company Questions on Implementing the EU Forced Labour Regulation

On 2 June 2026, together with CORE – The Human Side of Business, I hosted a practical discussion with the European Commission on how companies can prepare for the EU Forced Labour Regulation (#EUFLR) and make use of the forthcoming EUFLR database.

During the webinar, we explored what the EUFLR means for companies, what will be expected from them and the tools the European Commission is currently developing to support implementation, particularly the forced labour database and implementation guidelines.

With more than 400 registrations and over 80 questions submitted, the session highlighted both the importance of this topic to businesses and the value of hearing directly from policymakers and experts about the practical implications of the EUFLR as companies prepare for its application.

While many questions were addressed during the live session, some remained unanswered. To help address these, CORE and Human Rights at Work have compiled a Q&A document covering the key questions raised by participants.

Would you like to know more about how the EUFLR affects your organization, don’t hesitate to reach out.
